Final Design
- Provide cost advice as necessary for preparation of final design.
- Collaborate in preparation of time table covering Consultants work.
- Make minor amendments as necessary to approximate estimate.
Design Details Production Drawings, Tender Documents and Tender Action
- Amend approximate estimate as necessary during preparation of Contract drawings.
- Advise form of Contract
- Prepare Bills of Quantities including those for Sub-contract works where necessary.
- Prepare tender documents
- Obtain, check and report on tenders
- Advise on Contract
Construction Period
- Draw up Contract Documents
- Obtain, check and report on tenders for Sub-contracts where based on Bills of Quantities.
- Make periodic visits to site to measure work subject to adjustment
- Make periodic visits to sites to survey works in progress, take particulars and prepare valuations for Interim Payments to the Contractor
- Advise on financial implications of proposed Variations.
- Cost check and revise estimated cost as necessary to take into account variations.
- Advise on Contract problems.
- Examine, evaluate and report on Contractor’s Claims.
- Preparation of Periodic Financial Appraisals
Defects Liability Period
- Complete measurement and final account.
